My first try on KLCC, yea... it isnt so good, but i will practice harder when i have time. Need to find better spot for shooting, when less people were there, and also good weather and clouds. Wish me luck next time!

Outing finally..

Finally, we have another small outing where i can photoshoot again. Sham come over to fetch me, and we went to find Jessica and Furzanne in Klang. We go for a famous Bak Kut Teh breakfast before going over to Le Fung's house to see the Welsh Corgi! Very nice dog.. actually, this is one uncommon dog in Malaysia and my first time seeing one (except photos la..). Nice and tame.. and one thing is realise, it has no tail! haha.. apani! The breed was born without tail. Strange but CUTE. haha.. too bad i didnt shoot any photos.. was too hot that time, lazy ade..

We headed to MidValley, to check out Sham's shot in Sony Centre, ate some donuts @ KrispyKreme (not nice :S) before headed to KLCC. We tried some wireless flash with Sony DSLR and it was fun.. And of course, shooting the iconic KLCC Twin tower.

Went back to Klang, and had our dinner at Restoran Boston Baru, which is famous for it's Hokkien Mee, Steamed La-la (Clams) and Oat-Butter Mantis Shrimps! Very nice and cheap too... highly recommended!

It was a fun outing, just like what i used to join back in KK last few months and it's great to use my DSLR again (although abit lack of skills already.. :( ) anyway, will definelty practice hard and will uploads my photos after editing.

Ok great.. my mind playing me again... totally mood-less today!

Got a call from my mom, saying uncle got newly constructed farm ready for operation. It was intended for marine i think, but doesn't get the approval from government (as usual la...). Now, he wants to do African Catfish (Clarias gariepinus). Yes, it is profitable.. but i don't really have the mood to do it. The facilities cost over 1/4 million but i really need to see first, before making any decision.

Got few more offers too... haizz.. pening la..... need to sit down, relax and think deep. The thing is, i have to work 9 hours a day and 6 days a week.. where got time? at home, also have alot of works.. and the worst one is, laundry... lazy la... lol...

Anyway, will update soon.. with my newly purchased Targus Wireless Mouse for Mac! Cost me Rm130 now.. but first impression after using it for a day, it's not that sensitive and accurate. Who knows, maybe i need time to get used to it. Give me a week! Photos tomorrow... :p

Mrs Liew house is one of the place to be for most orchid lovers... she have alots of nice nice orchids and other exotic plants. I love to go there to photograph her orchids and flowers. oh.. i might also wanna ask permission for taking her son's car, red Audi A4 S-line ( can i, ShiangHorng? :D) Superb car, with lotsa new features in the car... one word, WOW!

Anyway, this is my recent shots from her house.. hope u guys like it.. i'm still learning :)

What a shame i am, forgetting the names of most orchids already. It's been years i didnt get serious on orchids due to study. But dont worry, i'm back! :)

Bukit Merah Aquaculture (BMA)

I've decided to pay a visit to BMA again, tagging Beh along. Start my journey at around 7.30am, and stop by at Kg. Jawi to pick up Beh.. We reach Bukit Merah at around 9am, and headed straight to the farm, which is located less than 5 minutes from the Bukit Merah Exit.

We went straight into the office and met Lin, the person-in-charge that i knew during the Aquafair 2008. Sat down for some discussion and business-alike before headed to the farm. Once again, we were given the chances to witness and took photographs of the overall process of harvesting the arowanas! :D I was surprised that some of the staff remembered me, and it was something about a student from Sabah documenting the process :S

BMA have over 400 ponds, culturing few different variants of Arowana such as Malaysian Golden, Blue Base, High-Back, Cross-Back, Solid Gold, Chilli Red, Super Red, Banjar Red, Silver, Green and few more types... It always amazed me to see such magnificent fishes in the ponds, and the harvesting process-stripping the eggs out is cool! I was lucky to be given the chance~ Thanks Lin @ BMA!

Anyway, enough brief introduction and let's head to the photos itself! :P

After the visits, we decided to 'kacau' Junyi, another coursemate of mine in somewhere between Bkt Merah and Taiping. We went for a short trip round Taiping town, visiting the Taiping Lake Garden, Maxwell Hill - Burmese Pool, and few more sight seeing... and not forgetting, FOODS!

We stop by a famous hawker centre, and i ordered Seafood porridge (ooo i love it!) and Fruit Rojak (craps!). We also have Ais Kacang as tea-time.. very cheap, 4 plate only RM5! Im surprised, after so long, being use to pay high prices in big town such as Kota Kinabalu and Kuala Lumpur. Northern area like Penang is still the best, food heaven; cheap and taste extremely good!

My new baby, MacBook Pro!

Unboxing my baby, the new Macbook Pro 13.3" which arrived on 9.9.09 from Shanghai, China!

Again, it's been quite some time i didnt update my blog... seems that nothing interesting in my recent working life. Stuck in an aquarium shop, where works is 6 days a week, 9 hours a day. Although it is pretty easy and flexible, sometimes it does get real BORED! Like what i feel today, no customers! Haizz....

Anyway, this give me the time to blog... 9.9.09, an auspicious day? a great day? oh yeah.. guess what, after a week of waiting for my new baby, it finally arrived on the 9th September 2009 with a little surprised (in which i hate that part).. That DHL really dont care about the real owner, and they pass my package to downstair hair saloon. Thank god we are close to them, if not... gone la, my baby would have been missing or smtg...

However, whatever it is, the most important thing is... i got my new MacBook Pro 13.3"!!! yippie... my first Mac, and i'm lovin it badly! The package was nicely wrapped and secured (thankfully) and it feels like unwrapping my early Christmas present (partially, as mom sponsored half, i have to pay half :p) Thanks Mom! The screen was superb as expected, with good performance (well, 4gb ram ma...). Thanks to Apple Education Store, where i get RM400 discount and i use it to upgrade my ram. Total, approx RM4500. it's like the most expensive things i ever bought!!!

Too bad i couldnt post the photo up yet... the screen havent been calibrated, so.. be patient, photos coming up pretty soon after i calibrate them this weekend!

Did i mention, i went back to Penang too? I did that every month end, visit family lo, and friends.. and this time, i went to Bukit Merah to visit some arowana farms with my coursemate, Beh. Soon after, we decided to visit Jun Yi as well, in somewhere between Bukit Merah and Taiping. Had our lunch, tea time and some trekking around Burmese Pool in Maxwell Hill, Taiping Lake Garden and few other places.. it was fun as it been years i haven't do some travelling and photoshoot! Miss that moments.. especially with MSJ geng like Gerry, Ak, Sham, Valentine, Jess and others... :'(

well, photos wil be uploaded soon, sorry for the delay... and oh ya, i will be back to Kota Kinabalu! yippie!!!

Last few weeks been busy preparing, booking hotel (thanks to AK for helping me with Hyatt Regency Hotel) and car (thanks Quennie for that). I'll be flying back to KK on October 1st, so guys, im COMING!!! haha... hope to see u all soon!
