Aquafair Guppy Competition 2010

The REAL Betta gladiator!

Presenting, the REAL Betta gladiator from Maliau Basin itself! It is caught by Mr. LC Chan of ADA Malaysia and was showcase during Aquafair held few weeks back at KLCC, Malaysia.

I was lucky to get some shots of the real gladiator pair, enjoy!

Diskus Discus

Visited a discus farm few days ago.. and i saw this stunning pair, simply stunning! The dots, the colorations.. love it! Im not really a fancy discus fans but it does makes me go 'wahh' sometimes :P here's 2 shots of the couple!

Had them since a year ago, they are now getting bigger and nicer. 2 days ago, i've decided to transfer them to new tank on my newest rack and today, managed to get some decent shots of them.

Macro Insects

Uhh... recently got poisoned back into macros.. thanks to Lalat King, Chan and the rest! hahaha..

So, i borrowed a Tamron Sp90, coupled with Raynox and my Sb600 with DIY softbox, im off to go.. this is the result of shooting this morning, my first attempt on macro shooting XD 'insects'

Wild Betta of Malaysia

Recently i had the opportunity to see myself the real Betta kuehnei, one of the newest species described. According to my friend, the collector, he caught it some one north Malaysia to South Thailand, Saton area if im not mistaken. It does look pretty similar to the pugnax group members, but one differences were the blue mask on the face and some throat marking, which until today, im still blurred and confused. haha..

Here's some close up photos of the newest betta, the Betta kuehnei!

Besides kuehnei, he also have a colony of wild Betta stigmosa, from Terenganu.

Finally, an updates!

Im so so sorry guys over the late updates in my blog.. been pretty busy for the last few months, but dont worry, im back! haha.. There's quite a number of events and shoots that i've done, will definitely upload it up one by one ya!

Here's a recent one, errmmm... maybe not that recent.. a month or 2 ago... ops.. anyway, it's a short cycling trip to somewhere near my house, and i decided to use my Nokia N95 camera and see how it performs. Comments are very very much appreciated! Thank you so much
